A Blessing

I want every person that reads this to be blessed.

I bless you!

Now here is the question, did you receive it? Or did you block the blessing I just sent you?

It really is that simple. If you want it, it is there. If you consciously say you want it but didn’t receive it, why didn’t you?

You need to find out!

God has a blessing and miracle for you in each and every moment, are you receiving it? (God's gifts are being given freely at all times, in all places.)

Are you receptive and open... or are you busy and closed minded? Does your life consist of the littleness of your lower self ego or the big expansiveness of the Holy Spirit/higher self and God.

It really does come down to choice. Every time I write something I always come back to the power of choice and thinking.

Choose not to let this world control your mind and your power. You have a divine inheritance that is all yours, start understanding what this means. Start reclaiming your personal and spiritual power. It is there if you want it.

Is your life out of your control? Do you have a suffering mind? If I took away your next paycheck would you be suffering? If your loved one was taken would you suffer? If you couldn’t have your favorite food or your favorite drink would you suffer? Do you see the attachments you have created? Where are your attachments?

Your state of mind should not be dependant upon these external factors. You should not suffer when you miss a paycheck. You should not be so attached to anything that without it your world crumbles. Your happiness should not be dictated by the material things in your life. Your happiness should not hinge upon some future action or person. “If only I had more I would be happy. If only I could find someone than I would be happy. If only, if only, if only! This is the pattern of addiction and codependency. It doesn’t matter what you are addicted to or dependant upon. It could be alcohol, it could be drugs, it could be sex, it could be cigarettes, it could be food, it could be your spouse. It is anything that gives you a sense of temporary relief from your suffering mind, it is your place to hide.

I am here to tell you that you do not need to hide. I am here to tell you that you are looking in the wrong place and you are following the wrong guide. PERIOD. No discussion needed.

That may get some of your panties in a bunch but it doesn’t make it not true. As a matter of fact if you have resistance and anger at the thought that you could be wrong, imagine a giant red flag waving wildly. This is definitely a call to awaken and look closer for you.

One of the best sayings from Alcoholics Anonymous is “Your best thinking got you here”. That best thinking typically comes from your ego/lower self by the way.

So if you find yourself somewhere you don’t want to be, understand, your best thinking got you there! You are going to need help getting out of the mess that your best thinking got you into. You need to understand this as it implies that you need to come to a point of surrender. A point where you can say you have made some mistakes, you don’t know what to do and you need help. You have to ask. Sometimes a lot of us hold on and hold on till we are broken and crying but it doesn’t have to be that way. One of the basic spiritual laws is ask and you shall receive. If you do not ask and invite, then Holy Spirit and God cannot enter. You have free will, even in your suffering, God will not violate your will. You have to invite him in. You have to choose to be guided by the Holy Spirit(which is only your Christed/higher self). It is this choice, this crying out that will transform your life and mind from suffering to incredible.

This is the first step. Ask God and you Christed Self for guidance. The next step is to do it over and over everyday for the rest of your life. If you continue to focus connecting to God and his messenger, the Holy Spirit(or your higher self), you will be seeing and receiving those miracles and blessings everyday!

Got Decisions?

Just stop it.

Stop what?

Stop all the excuses and justifications that are holding you back from experiencing true success in your life!

Everyone I know makes excuses to not perform as they should be in some area of their life. It is a completely personal choice where we want to offer these excuses in our life. Most, however, pertain to areas we don’t really want to give up. By this I am particularly referring to addictions and crutches we use to cope.

We all use some form, somewhere within our life. For some it is cigarettes. For others it is alcohol. Some use food as a source of comfort. Some delve into gambling and others attach themselves into bad relationships just to feel comfortable and safe. Many men turn to pornography and sex, possibly some women too.

Do you want to keep using these numbing behaviors and excuses you tell yourself to justify them? Do you want to stay in the same place? Do you even see that these life destructive behaviors are slowly killing you?

There is a big decision that really needs to be made and I wholeheartedly recommend that you actually make the decision and not let your life default into a position of wherever the cards may fall.

That may be one of the most difficult sentences that you will ever hear and have to face. You might want to read it again.

Even in my own life I am right now facing the big decision and I can feel the fear knocking.

It seems to be a time for big decisions right now. Everything is changing. The world is being turned upside down and you are part of the world. Pick a spot of your choosing to land or you will have to settle for wherever the wind blows you. This is a choice.

One problem I see is the simple fact that typically most people can’t decide on what they want. This is definitely an obstacle because it lends to having your decision moment pass into the default realm. This can sometimes work out pretty good but really I think it depends on your awareness levels and where you are in life.

Reminds me of a somewhat related story about the preacher who was stuck on the roof of his house during a massive flood. With water up to the roofline it was a desperate situation. A man in a boat came by and pleaded with him to get in but the preacher refused saying God would save him. After a while a second boat came by and once again offered to have him get on board but the preacher was persistent and refused saying God would save him. Finally a helicopter swung over the house and the rescue people let down the rope ladder but the preacher refused and sent them on their way saying that God would save him. Ultimately the water level rose above the roof and the preacher drowned. The man then went to heaven and he was able to ask God “what happened you were supposed to save me?” To which God replied “ I sent two boats and a helicopter why didn’t you get in?”

Sometimes we just don’t have a clue.

Another big issue around decision making is fear. The fear freezes you into indecision. What if you choose wrong? What if it is a huge disaster and you lose? This is really the biggest culprit, so let’s take a look at it.

My question is: What is it you will lose?

Is it your life? Your wife? The love of your children? Or is it your piece of property? Your car? or your social status? Is it your money you might lose? Or your security blanket?

What is it that you think you will lose by making the worst decision you could possibly make in your entire life. Does all this actually hinge on one single decision or has this been a series of small decisions over the course of days, months or years that has led you to this place of desperation where you think the balance of your life now hangs by a mere thread.

The truth is we all face decisions everyday that culminate and compound over the course of time. When the decisions you make are consistently errors in judgment it takes you to a place of desperation and despair. Ultimately you may not be able to save what you might lose but we can learn a better way in the future.

The way to prevent finding yourself in this low place is to cultivate an awareness of where the daily decisions you make are taking you. Are they steering you to a wonderful and successful life or are they taking you to a suffering place. Are you reclaiming your power or are you giving it away? Everyday we choose heaven or hell, the problem is that most people don’t realize what they are choosing or that a choice has even been made. One consolation is also the fact that if we realize we made a bad decision we can easily make another decision to rectify the first. It really is that simple! Do not be afraid to make a decision . You can always make another the next day if you feel it is not going well.

We also tend to get confused and backwards perspectives a lot of the time because we just can’t see correctly from our low perspective. The things we think are pleasurable and heaven like really are the opposite. For example, take cigarettes. People who smoke all have a tendency to associate the act with pleasure but this makes no sense because in truth cigarettes and tobacco are poison to the body. I don’t think a sane person would decide that anti freeze for your car was a good liquid to drink. That’s a poison too. I don’t see much of a difference between the two personally. Might as well go suck on a car muffler if you want to smoke. Does the same thing, doesn’t it?

Bad choices, poor thoughts and bad habits are killing you, so make the decision now to just stop.

Whatever area it may be for you!

JUST STOP it!

And then at the same time, start cultivating awareness of your daily decisions and ask yourself if they are taking you to a place you want to be!

Question EveryTHINK!

Passion, belief and conviction!

Passion, belief and conviction will generate success and open new levels of being.

You cannot be successful if you have no passion, belief or conviction in what you are doing. It is only performance to a level of mediocrity that will be accomplished without these crucial ingredients.

So do what you love and share it with the world!

To get to your passion, belief and conviction you might have to travel through some of the existing beliefs and convictions you have already and evaluate their usefulness.

One example would be in the area of finance and abundance. I know that you are worthy and deserving of unlimited abundance and prosperity but do you?

If you do not have the belief and conviction that you are deserving, capable and worthy of riches and wealth then most likely those items will not be in your life in a positive way.

It is the vibration of your being that attracts like and similar vibrations.

The way to focus and vibrate correctly is through the art of feeling.

It is how and what you feel that will be the gauge of what you attract and experience in your life. So if this is true, it would be very important to feel good. Feeling good would be a call to the universe and to your self that you want good experiences and good things in your life.

The action call today would be for you to consciously set a feeling within and cultivate it to fruition in your life. You can do this with quite a few different feelings.

Ask yourself “What does joy feel like?”
Now focus on the feeling that is generated and add to it. Strengthen it, build it, cultivate it, so it grows stronger and stronger, then sit in it for as long as you can. After practicing this technique you should be able to more easily recall the feeling and hold onto it more and more. The result will be a life full of much more joy and peace. You see it cannot be any other way.

Next you could use the same technique to cultivate the following “What does harmony and cooperation feel like?”

Or “What does love and peace feel like?” or “What does abundance and wealth feel like?”

Any desired feeling could be cultivated and strengthened through this process. For me the ultimate question that I love to vibrate with is simply “What does God feel like?”. I then experience the amazing results!

Try it and realize, life only gets better!
This will help you vibrate with and focus on the energy and feelings you truly desire.

Love and blessings,

Gavin
